Firstly, the ./configure didn't find gstreamer (search only 0.7, 0.6 and 0.5 but version is now 0.8 ...) I edited it and modified "GSTREAMER_MAJORMINOR="0.7"" to "GSTREAMER_MAJORMINOR="0.8"" according to the current version ... (ther is no other version ) The "./configure" passed successfully but "make" failed : [CODE] gst-element-ui.c: In function `gst_element_ui_set_property': gst-element-ui.c:280: error: invalid type argument of `->' [/CODE]
yeah thats not gonna work ofcourse. I've masked out gst-editor as being unstable/not working in the tree. See #49395 for an updated ebuild (note however that it is crashy).
