Description Graeme Donaldson 2004-05-11 11:18:54 UTC
If I play Neverputt (from games-puzzle/neverball) and I set the game to run at a higher resolution than I have my desktop running at, I cannot rotate 360 degrees around the ball (using left/right mouse movements). With the game running at the same or a lesser resolution than the desktop, it works fine.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. emerge \>=games-puzzle/neverball (haven't tested any earlier)
2. Launch Neverputt
3. From the options screen, select a resolution which is higher than your current desktop resolution and start the game.

Actual Results:
Cannot rotate 360 degrees around the ball using left/right mouse movements.

Expected Results:
Allow unlimited rotation around the ball.

What version of neverball? I assume 1.2.5 but you didn't say.
Comment 2 Mr. Bones. (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2004-05-11 19:01:34 UTC
Also, attach ~/.neverputtrc as text/plain please.
Comment 3 Graeme Donaldson 2004-05-11 23:22:56 UTC
I first noticed it with 1.2.5 and then downgraded to 1.2.4 (emerge -C neverball && emerge =games-puzzle/neverball-1.2.4), which behaved the same way.

I'll attach ~/.neverballrc tonight when I am at home.

Talked to upstream. He knows about it. Might fix it in the future. Marking UPSTREAM. Still happens in the latest release of the code.
