Created attachment 374522 [details] example xls file, which crashes gnumeric I use php-pear-Spreadsheet_Excel_Writer-0.9.2 on Oracle Linux 6.5 server (zend-server with php-5.3.14 as back-end) to produce output documents. After updating gnumeric to 1.12.12 I've find it's crashing on opening generated files. gnumeric ebuild has no debug USE, the crash is reliably reproduced, so for first time I attache the example xls file, producing crash. Downgrade to 1.12.0-r1 fixes issue, gnumeric successfully opens generated files. It seems to be a missed exception handling (generated by the same script on Gentoo (tested with 5.4.26 and 5.5.10) xls files are opened by =app-office/gnumeric-1.12.12 without crash), but application should not crash on opening any file. Should I report this issue upstream? I cannot reproduce with 1.12.13

We will stabilize newer version for this and other 3.10 package soon (once eva finishes his huge work of bumping to 3.12 in overlay, I plan to call for a last stabilization before I update my system to 3.12 for the next cycle)
