Trying to emerge universalkopete failed, the digest of the source archive is not correct or the archive itself is corrupt. See http://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic.php?t=171707.
The problem was with the files in the mirrors. I added a fresh (and good) version to the mirrors, it should be fixed in a couple of days.
I'm sorry, but the problem remains. I did an: emerge sync removed the allready downloaded source archive, and tried again, but the same problem still pops up.
My mistake. There was a problem with the digest sorry for the trouble.
This bug is still not fixed. The tarball on the first mirror is still broken. The version on flameeyes' site is the only valid mirror for the source right now and could go down at any time.
Same here, the file universalkopete-0.1.tar.bz2 in distfiles is broken, at least the version on the official mirrors I tried. Still not fixed. Someone should remove this from portage, it is apparently unmaintained upstream to the point that it's not even listed on the homepage.

I contacted upstream to see how is this maintained. If they do not reply or if they say it is deprecated i'll remove it from the tree.

Created attachment 87129 [details, diff] Fixes errors with universalkopete.cpp I fixed the errors with universalkopete.cpp. Before, it did neither work on my x86, nor on my amd64.
Please, remove this thing w/ non-existant upstream.
