A simple ebuild for libjit, the new Just In Time library developed by Southern Storm Software. This will probably be used in upcoming dotGNU releases.
Created attachment 31081 [details] ebuild for dev-libs/libjit-0.0.0f An ebuild for dev-libs/libjit-0.0.0f
I am well aware of libjit's progress, but thank you for submitting an ebuild :) Currently, libjit is only of interest for developers, so I don't think there's a general benefit by putting it into the tree yet, since developers would use current cvs. I'll probably put up a libjit-cvs ebuild onto my dev.gentoo.org space, though. For libjit to get into portage, let's just wait one or two more releases.
Additionally to the pnet cvs ebuilds I now put up a libjit-cvs ebuild onto my dev.gentoo.org space (http://dev.gentoo.org/~scandium/dotgnu-pnet-cvs/). If you are interested you can try those. (Note that we don't need to filter -fomit-frame-pointer anymore, since libjit's configure does this for us now anyway). There will be a new libjit release within the next days, I'll get that one into portage then.
libjit-0.0.4 was released today and is in the tree now.
