not sure whether this belongs here or rather to net-im/mcabber:
update from app-misc/ca-certificates-20130906 to app-misc/ca-certificates-20140223 leads to net-im/mcabber-0.10.2_p20131025 not being able to connect: "Certificate is not trusted!"

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.upgrade from app-misc/ca-certificates-20130906 to app-misc/ca-certificates-20140223 
2.launch net-im/mcabber-0.10.2_p20131025
Actual Results:  
mcabber reports:
[time] Connecting to server                                  
[time]  using port XX                                      
[time]  with resource mcabber.XXXXXXXX                      
[time] Certificate is not trusted!                           
[time] Disconnected, reason: 3->'LM_DISCONNECT_REASON_ERROR'

Expected Results:

independent of running "find -L /etc/ssl/certs/ -type l -exec rm {} +" after upgrading 

selinux is in permissive mode

This is most likely an issue with the jabber server you are using.

If not, please attach the output of echo | openssl s_client -connect $SERVER:$PORT -starttls xmpp -showcerts -CAfile /etc/ssl/certs/ca-certificates.crt.

i registered a new account at a different server and the problem doesn't occur; mcabber works as expected.
