Description Zentoo 2014-03-13 18:34:18 UTC
Installation of sys-apps/uam don't bring sys-apps/pmount as dependence.
pmount and pumount from sys-apps/pmount is used by uam in these scripts:
- /usr/bin/uam-pmount
- /usr/bin/uam-pumount

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. emerge -av sys-apps/uam

Actual Results:
uam is installed but can't work because he needs pmount binary.

Expected Results:
installation of sys-apps/uam should install sys-apps/pmount as dependence.

uam itself doesn't require pmount, it only installs extra wrappers for pmount. And it informs you that you may want to install pmount if you want to use them.

 * Note that uam doesn't provide any way to allow unprivileged user
 * to manually umount devices. The upstream suggested solution
 * is to use [sys-apps/pmount]. If you don't feel like installing
 * additional tools, remember to sync before removing your USB stick.
