gpm wrong permissions after glibc Alert update 7-14-02. gpm script in /etc/init.d/gpm was 644.

You sure it was not etc-update that maybe got run or such ?
Yes I did a etc-update after glibc upgrade. Thats when I seem to find problems. How should I have reported this then? Should it have been "after doing etc-udate after glibc emerge, gpm had wrong perms"? Also what caterory should it be under? portage, applications, .... Thanks Hiel
Hmm, I am guessing that you should add a bug with something like "etc-update do not keep permissions of files it changes" and assign it to karltk@gentoo.org. Then describe what happens. On another note, Ill change the Summary of this one. Maybe add it to programs.
I unfuxed this a while ago... must have missed this bug.
