Build my 1.2 System yesterday and it seems like the metalog package installs the metalog.conf to 
/etc/metalog/metalog.conf instead of /etc/metalog.conf, as its supposed to be according to 
the metalog-documentation.

True.  We also patch metalog.h so that metalog will read
metalog.conf from /etc/metalog/metalog.conf.  I hacked
the man page to point to /etc/metalog/metalog.conf,
so we're locally consistent.
