is there any reason a binary package cant be built/used with catalyst if the pkgcache feature is turned on for the current spec ? for users of fast machines it doesnt matter too much, but for some of us it does :)
i see no problem just adding emerge -b -k ccache as the default behavior. it makes a binary package for ccache specific to the target. will that work ok for you?
yes ... and while you're at it, you can do the same for distcc ;)
