When I shut down Kmail, my emails keep on beeing downloaded from the SMTP server (which is quite boring when I want to consult my emails when I travel). After a shutdown, I systematically have to kill all kmail related processes so that my incoming emails stay on the server. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Shutdown of kmail 2. 3. Actual Results: My emails are still downloaded from the server. Expected Results: Leave the related socket connections and stop downloading the incoming mails. after kmail's shutdown: "ps -ef | grep kmail julien 2297 2148 0 12:08 ? 00:00:00 kdeinit: kio_pop3 pop3 /tmp/ksocket-julien/klauncherPq7oGa.slave-socket /tmp/ksocket-julien/kmail17Jxbc.slave-socket julien 2298 2148 0 12:08 ? 00:00:00 kdeinit: kio_pop3 pop3 /tmp/ksocket-julien/klauncherPq7oGa.slave-socket /tmp/ksocket-julien/kmailgxSxBa.slave-socket julien 2299 2148 0 12:09 ? 00:00:00 kdeinit: kio_file file /tmp/ksocket-julien/klauncherPq7oGa.slave-socket /tmp/ksocket-julien/kmaillIreYa.slave-socket julien 2301 2148 0 12:10 ? 00:00:00 kdeinit: kio_smtp smtp /tmp/ksocket-julien/klauncherPq7oGa.slave-socket /tmp/ksocket-julien/kmailwDaxha.slave-socket " I have to "kill -2" all those processes to avoid my box to download my emails when I'm gone.
