Fails in configure due to broken version tests for as and ld:

Fixing these tests doesn't help much, compilation then fails because of conflicting types with linux headers (and there I gave up).


Maybe it is time to drop this package?

No reply from maintaniners, therefore reassigning to treecleaners.
- Package does not build
- Security issues (GLSA 201011-01 and GLSA 201312-01 at least, CCing security)
- No reverse dependencies
