Description Aaron Peterson 2004-05-06 22:37:54 UTC
that it has a different name, means that it should not unmerge the non bleeding-edge version...

it's its' own package, or it belongs slotted?? or it needs it's executable name symlinked to quanta, so everything else still works.

ebuild R ] app-editors/quanta-3.3_pre20040506
Comment 1 Aaron Peterson 2004-06-07 02:09:54 UTC
all that we need to do is make a symlink at the end of the ebuild..
Comment 2 Aaron Peterson 2004-08-04 13:34:17 UTC
is this really a bug,

I've gotten used to calling quanta_be
but it was very confusing when quanta didn't work... with no notice...

so, yes, this is a bug!

there should be a symlink to quanta, or there should be slotted versions

app-editors/quanta was removed from portage, superseded by kde-base/kdewebdev
(and by kde-base/quanta, which comes from the splitting of kdewebdev).
