Please don't put absolute paths in .desktop files. That gives us icon themers headaches. Rather, cp or symlink the icon, please. Just a suggestion.
Actually the best thing should be to install the icon in the hicolor structure, and use the name of the icon without extension at all. I'll take a look as soon as i have my linux system.
