Description Michael Starr 2004-05-06 08:30:57 UTC
The last line of the ebuild file is

ld.

The ebuild fails with the error that the command ld. is not found. I commented this out in my ebuild file, and libnasl seems to be compiling normally.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. emerge libnasl or emerge nessus
2.
3.

Actual Results:
ebuild failed

Expected Results:
software should compile

I'm not exactly sure why the ld. line was in the ebuild file, but if others are
having this issue, the fix is simple. However, it will repeat itself at each
emerge sync if not fixed.

Thanks.

which version of libnasl?

I can't see the line you are referring to.

Cannot see such issue.
Please emerge sync and check again.
