Description jeremiah 2014-02-24 03:31:07 UTC
Imediately after starting the update I get the error. It may be because the files were installed by root (via portage) and thus only root can update them, but root cannot run eclipse.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Using a clean installation of dev-util/eclipse-sdk-bin-4.2.1-r1, go to Check for Updates and try to manually select Eclipse IDE for Java Developers a.k.a. epp.package.java and it replies: "Insufficient access privileges to apply this update."
2.Select it anyway using Select All
3.confirm, accept license, etc.
4.get error
Actual Results:
