The problem is there is only one kde-4.12 set covering the entire version, both releases and live ebuilds. kde-4.12.2 has kwallet, while in the next release it is renamed to kwalletmanager (hence the update to the set). With the way our sets are currently organised, I don't think there is any solution that will work for both release and live ebuilds until 4.12.3 is released.
I can't keep portage broken until 4.12.3, how can I workaround it?
I created a set called @kdeutils-4.12.2 in my local overlay and I switched to it while waiting for 4.12.3. Thanks.
(In reply to darkbasic from comment #4) > I created a set called @kdeutils-4.12.2 in my local overlay and I switched > to it while waiting for 4.12.3. Thanks. OK, thanks for the feedback. Closing for now then, but long-term we could probably use an improved sets system.
