I had shared-mime-info 0.7 installed and just emerging the new version of nautilus broke the opening of .desktop files (and lots of other stuff). Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3.
dunno, is it really important? It will always break this or that file that isn't/wasn't available at some point. (most of the x-desktop stuff seems available since the first revision though). Guess we should just make gnome-vfs dep on the latest version in portage to make sure users get the best coverage.
