Whenever I use sylpheed-claws over ssh X-forwarding on a remote computer, it crashes after some clicks.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
remote> ssh home-computer
home-computer> sylpheed-claws

... clicks (folder, message,...) ...
Actual Results:
Gdk-ERROR **: BadWindow (invalid Window parameter)
  serial 58668 error_code 3 request_code 38 minor_code 0
Gdk-ERROR **: BadAccess (attempt to access private resource denied)
  serial 58669 error_code 10 request_code 102 minor_code 0

Expected Results:
continue to work :-)

- no problems at all on the local display

Comment 2 gentoo 2004-08-02 02:33:42 UTC
I had to enable trusted X11 forwarding and the problem was gone

OpenSSH_3.8.1p1, OpenSSL 0.9.7d 17 Mar 2004
sylpheed-claws 0.9.11 (just emerged 0.9.12, should test new version)
libgtk-1.2.so.0.9.1

Well, I don't really know anything about the X11 security extension and how it affects programs, if this is a serious problem for you please send it upstream (though I'm not sure if it's a -claws problem or a general gtk problem).
