I want to setup up a new mirror,but I can't rsync with www.ibiblio.org::gentoo,should I rsync with other server?

Could you please be more specific as to why you can't sync with ibiblio? An error message would be best. Thanks!

Is this a public mirror that you're trying to set up or a private mirror?

If it's a public one, please provide the details of your mirror and we can get the process started with an alternate mirror.

Now we have rsync source-mirror with  ftp.belnet.be::gentoo,and rsync rsync-mirror with rsync2.us.gentoo.org.

It's not clear from your earlier comments -- have you been able to successfully complete a sync with another mirror?

Yes,I had. I successfully complete a source-mirror sync with ftp.belnet.be. and a rsync-mirror with rsync2.us.gentoo.org.

It seems I was unable to connect to this mirror either via ftp or rsync. Please let us know if you would still like to be an rsync/ftp mirror for Gentoo. If not, I can close the bug. Thanks!
