current HOMEPAGE in ebuilds is 
> http://www.cypherpunks.ca/otr/

this is redirected (HTTP/302) to
> https://otr.cypherpunks.ca/

Although the redirect is a 302, I suggest applying the change in the ebuilds, because upstream says:

> We've migrated the OTR website to a new and faster server. (Updated
> 3 Oct 2013): The URL is now https://otr.cypherpunks.ca/, as we have
> enabled TLS.

As far as I understand this, it is a permanent change and we should expect the redirect from http://www.cypherpunks.ca/otr/ to disappear one day.
