kth-krb-1.2.2-r1 will fail to compile with the afs use flag enabled when sys-libs/db-4.0.* isn't installed on the system.  At the time of the failure, only db-4.1.25_p1-r3 and db-1.85-r2.  After installing sys-libs/db-4.0.14-r2 this works.

The error is not dependent on the afs use flag. It errors without afs aswell.
