Currently the ebuild only specifies a slot dep and will fail if libwpg isn't updated before libmwaw is built with an error similar to the following:

checking for WPG... no
configure: error: Package requirements (
    libwpg-0.2 >= 0.2.2
) were not met:

Requested 'libwpg-0.2 >= 0.2.2' but version of libwpg-0.2 is 0.2.1

You are dev, just update it.

Also you didn't update your box for more than 6 months, bad dev!

Some herds/teams/devs are finicky about non-maintainers touching their ebuilds so I generally file bugs for devs I haven't dealt with much.

Kiosks I don't own don't get updated often.
