Hi,

sci-libs/vtk-6.0.0 requires sci-libs/netcdf-cxx:3 which requires (netcdf-4.2-r300) >=sci-libs/netcdf-4.2

But, sci-visualization/paraview-4.0.1-r1 requires ~sci-libs/netcdf-4.1.3[cxx,hdf5] which gives rise to a block.

Is it possible to have both installed?

ACtually that shouldn't block. I will look into that.

it looks as if you cannot install them in parallel right now. paraview needs to support newer netcdf for that.

Which version of vtk is bundled in paraview in this version?
