The ebuild contains the following entry:

DEPEND="
    <dev-python/pycxx-6.2.0[${PYTHON_USEDEP}]
    <dev-vcs/subversion-1.8"  # (bug #395533)

However, the bug referenced above is long resolved. Thus, the dependency can be removed.
