kopi is a calendar based on korganizer with sync capabilities It runs on zauri, windows, 'regular' linux Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3.
Kopi is a kontact version to run on windows. I think do a ebuild for this, is time lost for everybody. emerge kdepim is all of you need.

Hi Victor! :) The Kx/Pi, KO/Pi and KA/Pi sync tools are not just for Windows, this comes from a KDE developer (Lutz Rogowski) and is purely Qt at heart. "Pi" in each of the modules means "platform-independent". I personally need this for my Zaurus, but in general it's just a clever way of synchronising PIM data between various devices, e.g. desk- and laptops, mobile phones, PDAs. In most cases the Kx/Pi sync engine will run on a Linux server, hence the request for an ebuild.
Created attachment 84828 [details] ebuild for the platform independant kde-pim Better late than never ;) I wanted to use the KDE-Pim/PI software, as I don't want to have to build the kde-base stuff that the kdepim ebuild requires. I had a hunt around for an ebuild and found this bug report, so wrote my own e-build which seems to work.
(this is an automated message based on filtering criteria that matched this bug) Hello, The Gentoo Team would like to firstly thank you for your ebuild submission. We also apologize for not being able to accommodate you in a timely manner. There are simply too many new packages. Allow me to use this opportunity to introduce you to Gentoo Sunrise. The sunrise overlay[1] is a overlay for Gentoo which we allow trusted users to commit to and all users can have ebuilds reviewed by Gentoo devs for entry into the overlay. So, the sunrise team is suggesting that you look into this and submit your ebuild to the overlay where even *you* can commit to. =) Because this is a mass message, we are also asking you to be patient with us. We anticipate a large number of requests in a short time. Thanks, On behalf of the Gentoo Sunrise Team, Jeremy. From the README file : "It compiles with Qt 3.2.3 on the Linux or Windows desktop as well." Latest version 2.2.8 has been released on 2008-05-07. I have tried to compile it but I have an error message. For example, it doesn't find QPtrList class specific to QT 3. Then, I suggest a RESOLVED/WONTFIX (not QT4 ready)
(In reply to comment #6) > Then, I suggest a RESOLVED/WONTFIX (not QT4 ready) Seconded. The bug is old, the software too and it has probably lost a lot of its appeal with recent developments in the embedded/Qt/mobile world.
i'm closing this bug because: - no kde4 or qt4 release from upstream - kde3 has been removed from portage
