The metedata says these are both maintained by mgorny, but the Header lines in the ebuilds show the dev-python one being owned by ago. I'm not sure who the real owner is but they should probably be combined. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. ls /usr/portage/dev-python/minidlnac 2. ls /usr/portage/net-libs/minidlnac Actual Results: Both packages exist. Expected Results: Only one package exists for a given piece of software.
The header line just shows who did the last commit. Also, you could at least care to read package descriptions before opening a bug. * dev-python/miniupnpc Available versions: (~)1.6 (~)1.6.20120509 (~)1.7-r1 (~)1.8 {PYTHON_TARGETS="pypy2_0 python2_6 python2_7"} Homepage: http://miniupnp.free.fr/ Description: Python bindings for UPnP client library * net-libs/miniupnpc Available versions: 1.6-r1^t 1.6.20120509^t (~)1.7^t 1.8^t {static-libs KERNEL="linux"} Homepage: http://miniupnp.free.fr/ Description: UPnP client library and a simple UPnP client

Both 1.6 versions of the dev-python ebuild have the 'UPnP client library and simple UPnP client' description, and that's what shows up in Kuroo's list view so they looked the same. I should have dug a bit deeper though.
