The mcomix application requires app-arch/unrar to view cbr files and app-arch/unzip for cbz files. Currently this is only stated by an elog message, but portage does not prevent uninstallation of these packages, which will render mcomix inoperable. 

I think this should be prevented by making the mcomix ebuild depend on the unarchiving programs, possibly using local USE vars.
