I pushed an ebuild to 
https://github.com/jonasstein/myportage/tree/master/sci-physics/clip
sci-physics/clip-4.0.0_beta2 works fine on my system. Still need some testing, if all dependencies are fine.

sci-physics/clip-9999 does not compile today due to a bug in the upstream code.

needs qt4 which leaves the official tree now.
