Not too long ago, I was advized on the dns@list.cr.yp.to mailing, to set my dns server to not only serve .ip6.int PTR records, but also .ip6.arpa. I was told that .ip6.arpa is the standard. I would therefore like to request the inclusion of the IPv6 patch from http://www.gentei.org/~yuuji/software/djbdnspatch/ The patch is an extension to the ipv6 patch available from fefe.de. It creates ip6.arpa PTR records by default, and also allows for the creation of ip6.int records in addition to the ip6.arpa records, if the IP6_INT environment variable is set. The patch available at the site is against test20 of the fefe.de ipv6 patch. I have adjusted the patch for test20 and will attach it next.
