Description Joshua Kaspar 2004-04-30 16:52:59 UTC
When I select text in Abiword (2.0.5) I can't see that it is selected. Text looks exactly the same selected or not. I know it is actually selecting the text because when I cut or copy+paste, the charactors manipulated are the ones I intended to select.

Link goes to forum posting

Changing the background color shows the the text is being highlighted white.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Open Abiword under KDE
2.Highlight typed text

Actual Results:
Text looks exactly the same selected or not.

Expected Results:
Highlighted the text

Comment 2 foser (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2004-05-01 04:58:40 UTC
probably a theme problem. Try another gtk/gnome theme.
Comment 3 Joshua Kaspar 2004-05-02 14:02:15 UTC
It was a theme problem
I was using Plastik style with plastik colors
Changed style and colors and that fixed it
