This might be an upstream bug, but on exit from Qt designer I get  
 /usr/qt/3/bin/designer: relocation error: /usr/kde/3/lib/libkio.so.4: 
undefined symbol: unregisterStaticDeleter__7KGlobalP18KStaticDeleterBase

So sorry about not responding before. I can reproduce this - sort of - this is 
what I get: 
designer: relocation error: /usr/kde/cvs/lib/libkdeui.so.4: undefined symbol: 
_ZN7KGlobal23unregisterStaticDeleterEP18KStaticDeleterBase 
...There are some other issues related to this, I hope to be able to provide 
more info shortly.

I no longer get this now (kde 3.0.3, qt 3.0.5-r1). Do you?
