(In reply to kramlat from comment #2) Jeroen Roovers meant that patches to ebuilds instead of whole ebuilds should be attached. Anyway I check tuxonice.net/downloads/all every day and there is clearly no patch for 3.12.5 yet. Thy ebuild referreth to nonexistent file in SRC_URI.
I am not sure what we need to do here...
Perhaps it is a typo and meant to be a version bump to 3.12.4?
A newer version is already in the tree.
