Description Vladimir 2013-12-19 14:56:02 UTC
With webkit-gtk-2.0.4 when I try to read some threads in Google Groups, my webkit-gtk-based browsers crash with segmentation fault and error message like this:

Segmentation fault

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open some group in Google Groups
2. Choose some thread to read and click on it
3. Try to search for another group, open it and read something in it
Actual Results:
In my case the browser (at least, Midori and Xombrero) give me a segfault after several clicks. I can never open two threads consequently. In the very best case I can only read a single thread.

Please generate a proper gdb backtrace (recompile net-libs/webkit-gtk with -g).

Also, post your `emerge --info net-libs/webkit-gtk' output in a comment.

 I tried to build webkit-gtk with 'debug' USE-flag turned on, but could not finish. It took more than 6GB of space on my HDD, and I have no free space more than that. So, unfortunately, I cannot test it as you asked.

emerge --info net-libs/webkit-gtk

ACCEPT_KEYWORDS="amd64 x86 ~amd64 ~x86"
-> don't do that, it can be risky with some system packages, I would rebuild all with only amd64 keywords (if you find a package missing the keyword, simply report it to get keyworded added, but don't accept x86 for all)

  Thank you for the advice! I changed the keywords for the last time several years ago -- during my first Gentoo install. So, now I cannot even remember why I included them all. However, all these years I did not even think of them, since everything worked well.

  Anyway, I'll try to rebuild the packages with the "amd64 ~amd64" flags only, and let's see if it helps.
