Description Voltron Rex 2004-04-30 00:23:09 UTC
Greetings

mplayer will play an m4a file I have if I let it output the audio normally. IF I use the -dumpaudio flag, mplayer core dumps.

Example:
mplayer -dumpaudio 01.m4a
Playing 01.m4a
Cache fill: 0.00% (0 bytes) MOV: File-Type unknown Major-Brand: M4A
QuickTime/MOV file format detected.
--------------
MOV track #0: 309 chunks, 6487 samples
Audio bits: 16 chans: 2 rate: 44100
MOV: Found MPEG4 audio Elementary Stream Descriptor atom (51)!
Fourcc: mp4a
--------------
MOV: longest streams: A: #0 (6487 samples) V: #-1 (0 samples)
Core dumped ;)

Do you have an example file we can test for this?
Comment 2 Chris White (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2004-08-17 08:30:04 UTC
I need a sample for this.
