build log

Emerging kde-base/pykde4-4.11.2-r1 fails for no discernable reason, the only error message I get is "emake failed". Build log is attached.

I have had emerge failures along those lines (no obvious compile or link error, just an emake failed for no obvious reason) happen several times lately. The last package to fail this way was kwin. However, after manually emerging kwin again, the emerge succeeded.

Output of emerge --info:

Doh, I just didn't scroll up far enough in the build log. This seems to be the real error:

No, still not far enough. You should be looking for "Error 1".

Does dmesg reveal anything interesting after the segfault? Random segfaults that do not appear consistently are usually something else, such as hardware issue.

No, dmesg is silent about this.
Comment 6 Guido Winkelmann 2013-12-10 14:02:15 UTC
I just ran memtest86+ on my machine over lunch break - it has found memory errors.

Please disregard this bug, it was most likely caused by faulty hardware.
