Since I forgot to change the default on last bump, this is for trying to remember to change it in the next ;) https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=720077#c1
Is this bug about supporting the passing of the system's hostname to the router? I do wish NetworkManager just automatically read /etc/hosts and passed on that info, but in the meantime maybe a message can be printed out to users upon installation of NetworkManager that there is another way to ensure that NetworkManager passes that info to the router by editing /etc/NetworkManager/NetworkManager.conf and adding [keyfile] hostname=myhostname to the configuration file.
The default is still dhcpcd, which causes some trouble specialy for usage in an environment which uses DHCPv6, which isn't supported at all by the NetworkManager dhcpcd backend.
