When booting from 2004.1 live cd on a Dell Laptop with a NE2000 compatible pcmcia network card (Netgear) network device cannot be set up:

The card works fine with existing debian sarge installation.

We're looking into the network/pcmcia issues with 2004.2 and are hoping to have everything working perfectly for this release.

Should have been fixed for 2004.2, but I am sure it was fixed for 2004.3's release.  Please REOPEN if this is not the case.
