When I try to mount floppy #mount /dev/fdo /mnt/gentoo/mnt/floppy I receive the error message mount: fs type vfat not supported by kernel Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. #mount /dev/fdo /mnt/gentoo/mnt/floppy Actual Results: mount: fs type vfat not supported by kernel Expected Results: mount the VFAT formatted floppy drive at the specified folder This prevents loading already saved configuration files from the floppy or the vfat partition on the hard drive. Strangely enough, NTFS support works like a charm.
Will be in the .2-kernel
