Is there a chance to get this bug fixed anytime soon? Because this is a complete showstopper. It's not possible to do a full system update with `emerge -uDN world`, because this package can't be skipped by `emerge --resume --skipfirst` or masked. Portage obtrusively want's to emerge gegl-9999.

Do you know emerge --exclude ... ?

It looks like related to https://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=483562

Not yet, but this doesn't help either. Portage still insists in installing libopenraw-0.1.0_pre20130826, and with that gegl-9999

Seems to be.

" Heiko Baums 2014-01-05 11:14:40 UTC
A while before I unmerged both and remerged libopenraw-0.0.9 and gegl-0.2.0-r2 manually with `emerge -1`.

Meanwhile I ran an `emerge -uDN --autounmask=n world` without any problems. Afterwards a normal `emerge -uDN world` was possible again.

So the portage issue is most likely related to this libopenraw/gegl issue. So I guess there's probably not a bug in portage itself, but in the ebuild of one or both of these packages."

Could you please close that bug as duplicate or is the dependency fixed?
Priority, Severity: This red hurts my eyes.
