I've written a new ebuild for the WMACPILoad dockapp. I linked the the source to a modified version that seems to work better with ACPI under the 2.6 kernel. Here us a excerpt from the page the modified source is on (http://perso.wanadoo.fr/acarriou/wmacpiload/index.html): "Here is an "unofficial" patch for wmacpiload (yet another one, i know). I have proposed it to Anthony Peacock (wmacpiload's main author, for those who didn't know), but he has not had enough time to review it. So, he and I agreed that i could release my patch separately, according that everyone's responbility and credits is made clear, until he eventually reviews it." Did he review it? Months have passed since then...
I just emailed the orignal author and the author of the patch. I'm currently waiting for their reply to see what the situation is.
Added to Portage acarriu's patched version... I'm calling it wmacpiload-ac, under x11-plugins. Thank you for the submission!
