Name: Daniel Ostrow @g.o addy: dostrow CVS access: ebuilds, docs and src IRC Nick: dostrow Mentor: pvdabeel Location: New York / USA Area of responsibility: Daniel has been using Gentoo for quite a while, on various architectures. He has been actively contributing to Gentoo by sending in new ebuilds and ebuild enhancements. He is currently in the process of debugging some ppc kernel and bootloader issues and is reporting his findings/code both to us as well as upstream. He would like to continue contributing as a ppc dev in the same domain (kernel, bootloader, gcc, ...) He is also looking into sound development stuff, specifically with ardour. Daniel works as a network engineer at Forbes, Inc. His work email is dostrow@forbes.com Two week evaluation period starts 29th of March 2004. I'll mentor daniel and prepare him for the quiz. I'll also guide him through the administrative process (gpg, ssh, copyright things...)
pvdaveel, I'm ready to process him when he has his quiz etc ready.
He is going to send you the stuff today :-)
He's set. Have fun
Reopening Daniel's bug.
dostrow coordinates every US LWE that Gentoo attends and is a member of developer relations, closing bug for now.
I've been thinking about this. I'd like to stay on as "staff" just doing events stuff. I clearly don't need CVS access at all, I haven't made a commit in a VERY VERY long time. Can someone take care of removing my CVS access please? If I ever find that I want/need it again I'll just retake the quizzes and such. Thanks.
