if you emerge kde-base/kdepim-l10n before kde-base/kde-l10n everything works as expected. It seems that the files have moved from one package to the other.

Deleted the file where it does NOT belong, but did not restore it yet where it has to go (which is more complicated). For now people can install fine (but akonadi_knut_resource is untranslated).

Knut is obsolete, likely does not work properly anymore, and has been removed in 4.12. Closing as WONTFIX.
