After booting LiveCD i more or less always type:
loadkeys de-latin1-nodeadkeys
usually that brought me a good keymap, but now at least the 3 keys with the german "Umlaute" which are "ä", "ö","ü".

They do not work anymore in 2004.1 AMD64 universal LiveCD.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Boot LiveCD
2.Execute "loadkeys de-latin1-nodeadkeys"
3. Try typing "ä","ö" or "ü"

Actual Results:
A capital Sigma (greek) symbol can instead of an "ä".
A "to the power of n" (superscripted n) symbol appeared instead of an "ü"

Expected Results:
Typed "ä","ö" or "ü"

(I really have said everything)

This is because the font isn't able to switch. You will however notice, that keys like -, /, # etc. are set up correctly.
Comment 3 Ramin 2004-04-28 11:14:45 UTC
I noticed that -, / and z,y are set up correctly (I did not try #).
All other Keys I tried were correct as well.

How can I fix the Font ?
