Description Branden Moore 2004-04-28 09:21:19 UTC
I have been mirroring Gentoo Linux for about a year now, and have recently been given the authority to expand the number of simultaneous connections allowed to ftp.ndlug.nd.edu I have expanded it to 50 I-2 hosts, and 20 I-1 hosts. Notre Dame (where the server is located) has recently enabled direct fiber run to the internet backbone, connected in Chicago.

I am doing a FULL mirror at this time, syncing off of ibiblio.
Once ftp.ndlug.nd.edu is set up as a official source mirror, I would be glad to also set it up as an rsync Mirror (but I have not yet done that part).

Reproducible: Always

Thanks for helping out Gentoo. I have added your mirror to our list at http://www.gentoo.org/main/en/mirrors.xml. Please start synching from ftp.oregonstate.edu as the email I have sent to you instructs. We would like you to subscribe to the gentoo-mirrors Mailing List by sending an email to gentoo-mirrors-subscribe@lists.gentoo.org, as we send our notifications of updates, releases, and changes in policy to the mirrors. Once again, thanks for the hardware and bandwidth!

Very Fast!!

For Infrastructure,
