Description Sebastian Celis 2004-04-28 09:06:57 UTC
Just a minor typo.

The inital boot screen says: Gentoo Linux 2004.0 Livecd
It should be: Gentoo Linux 2004.1 Livecd

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:

I get it on the Universal CD also.
Comment 3 Thierry Carrez (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2004-04-30 07:59:45 UTC
This is a catalyst issue -- livecd/cdtar/isolinux-2.08-cdtar.tar.bz2 contains a boot.msg that comes from the 2004.0 issue.

It should probably be separated from the cdtar tarfile and put into the x86-archscript.sh file.

Or some sed magic can change the release version every time.

fixed -
there is really no reason that we require branding at all. We can do it other ways that make it easier to change each release w/ catalyst. Having branding inside of the cdtar is a pain ;)
