I can not run vmware-worskstation (/opt/vmware/bin/vmware) without root permission
https://communities.vmware.com/thread/463294

So i try to start vwmare-authentification.service

#systemd enable vwmare-authentification.service
>Failed to issue method call: No such file or directory

In fact vwmare-authentification.service try to run:
/usr/sbin/vmware-authdlauncher
but this file does not exist ??

#emerge -pv vmware-workstation
[ebuild R ] app-emulation/vmware-workstation-10.0.1.1379776 USE="cups vmware-tools -doc -ovftool -server -vix" 0 kB

I have made a VMware Support Request
Here are their answers:

You get this error when authd service doesn't start. So, when we logged in with root, all the core services gets full permissions to start and everything works as expected.
What I wanted to know is did you installed VMware Workstation with root privileges or as a standard user?

Also was their any new security pushed to the system or did you tried disable SELinux policy and see if that works by any chance?
Thanks in advance.

I suspect this is fixed in the meantime.

(If not, is your user in the vmware group?)
