I'm currently having a look at this and may pick it up to include it in the tree. @Jan: why did you include a custom /etc/ptpd.conf file? It looks like ptpd2.conf.default-full would be a better starting place? At least that will have all the options for people to play with.
@Hans You are right, it will be probably better starting point. Now, I just don't remember, why I did it.
@Hans I remembered, it is because ptpd2.conf.default-full is not part of future versions
