Description Ryan Stinnett 2004-04-27 23:06:42 UTC
Might be some kind sf.net issue, but right now the source for this ebuild is not on all of the sf.net mirrors. If emerge picks the wrong mirror, it sits around waiting for the connection to timeout.

Available on these mirrors: umn, aleron, heanet, unc

Apologies if this is already in bugzilla, though I did poke around for it.

Reproducible: Sometimes
Steps to Reproduce:
emerge xine-lib-1_rc3-r3
Actual Results:
Emerge failed when the source couldn't be found.

Expected Results:
Should only use mirrors which actually have the file.

Comment 1 Martin Holzer (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2004-04-28 09:44:50 UTC
404 != connection timeout
Comment 2 Ryan Stinnett 2004-04-28 14:51:56 UTC
Yep, you're right, I saw it get a few 404s this time around and it moved on immeadiately. Sorry for the trouble then!
