I remain to be convinced that this is a good use of Foundation funds. Further, do we really want Gentoo to be a brand of chocolate? As chocolate distribution and sale is not part of the Foundations main aims, any profits will be taxable. This complicates the foundation accounts. In reply to comment 1. Not me as I don't like chocolate.
I'm all for PR for our distribution, but I'm not sure giving out free chocolate is the way forward for this (also considering it isn't a small budget). I do like chocolate, but I eat it equally fast as my daughter, and I hardly remember the shape afterwards. Unlike other "swag" like t-shirts, stickers or pens, it is gone before you know it. Now Gentoo-styled ice-cube mo(u)lds... but that should then be on a different budget request ;-)
The trustees will not fund chocolate. It anyone else wands to fund this item they need to appy to the trustees to use the trademark.
